Singer Model 27 (?) CL Mobile

I have been emailing with this sweet old man who has the above listing. He did raise his price to $100 after doing the research and finding out what this model was going for on eBay. The machine belong to his mother (and he told me he was OLD). I'm going to be in Mobile but I have no way to bring it back to MS.
The Serial # is D730576 which he researched on the Singer site to be made in December 1908.
He said he mother painted "it" pink so I'm not sure if that is the cabinet or the machine? LOL He said it needed to be stripped back to the varnish so I'm thinking it is the cabinet.
Just thought someone in the Mobile area might be interested in taking a look at it.
