I am so excited. My hummingbird is back!!!!!! Last year I had 2 but it is hard to tell how many I have this year! My garden/weeds love all the rain that we have been having and I sorta of do too since it means I can quilt instead of pulling weeds!!

Yeah but those weeds will be adding up and then you have lots of weeding to do. Glad spring has finally arrived. Been a very long and hard winter that is for sure.

I just bought a new hummingbird feeder I am anxious for them to come feed. I guess spring is here along with surprise storms. I was getting ready to plant garden and husband was getting ready to FINALLY plant corn when the gully washer poped up. UGH

We got 6.5 inches of rain dumped in less than one hour yesterday UGH , May be the end of this small family farm.

I live in central Ohio and say my first hummers on April 29. I was sure that spring was here, but we had to wait another three weeks. We had quite a bit of rain this morning but it's nice and sunny this afternoon so maybe I can finally finish planting my flowers. I don't think I can recall a spring this cool and rainy...really sick and tired of rain!!!

I have not gotten my flowers yet, My dad always said to wait until the OLD Memorial day to plant so I let the garden centers tend my flowers until then. I will probably get them this week end. Happy Spring!!!!!!
