A girl I worked with was named Sparkle and her sister was Twinkle. (They really should have been named Dumb and Dumber or Ditsy and ...)

I am a Phyllis. Initials are PHD. Therefore I was born with a PhD!

I once shared an office with a man whose last name was Huey. My last name is Dewey. Lewie never seemed to show up, so we put a sign on our office door that Louie was out to lunch.

I have a former SIL named Melva and a old acquaintance named Melba.

My cousin named her first child Sunshine, her second one named Starr. When she got pregnant again we were afraid she would name a boy Moon. But she didn't.

And my nieces names end in "Y", "I" and the last one ends in "IE" .

Those are my thoughts for the night. Although it's early eve at the moment.

    Phyllis
    PHD ;)

When my youngest was being hatched, we thought I might have twins, and I really wanted, but didn't get, girls. I was going to call them Summer Lynn and Autumn Christina. Figured if they hated their first names, they could use their middles. But, another boy.

I worked at Publix with Summer, Spring and Autumn. Also April, May, June.

McKenzie is the traditional spelling of a last name. My daughters first name is spelled Mackenzie. We often have people capitalize the K in her name. We had to have a photographer reprint her soccer pictures last year because of it.

I also have to say, this thread could be dangerous. We're making fun of actual peoples names.

OK so I have a friend who had triplets - 2 girls and 1 boy
Bella, Bleu, and Bodie .... their last name starts with a B too!

I tried to tell her so was really be "calling the role" when she went to hollar at one! My mom always went down the list and our names were even close! lol

When my first child my daughter was born I wanted a soft sounding name but something that wasn't run of the mill.

so I experimented with names and came up with Sarabeth. Her middle name is Lee. So my mom hated it. She says you will regret it! I dont' regret it but I do have to say it has caused a lot of problems over the years

I continually have to say it is all one word NO Capital B and it is said like Elizabeth. NO her middle name isn't Beth and no there is no H.

When my DH worked at Goodyear Sara was only 1 and they entered her name wrong. It was on there as Sarbath. In 13 yrs I asked repeatedly to have it fixed but she remained Sarbath on their records! LOL

I have seen people write her name(dr offices etc) over the years as Sarah Beth or SaraBeth It is like my DH who hates to see his name as Glenn when it is supposed to be Glen. He gets radical when his name isn't right! LOL
