I made a king size quilt ( fun and done pattern) for a wedding shower gift for my son and future D-I-L. Any clever ideas on how to box it and/or wrap it? I'd like to do something a bit creative but can't really think of anything.
    Thanks.

rip thin scraps of fabric that coordinate (either same fabrics or close) to use for ribbons/ties/bows on the package

    * Ditto to the pillow case, and put the quilt in it and then tie it up!

    Also
    * Fold or roll it neatly, with the backing facing out. Then tie it up with strips of fabric, so they look like a bow

    * Buy a large straw bag/tote and put the quilt into it. Fabric ribbons again.

    * Make a tote bag that'll hold it.

I make matching pillowcases for every quilt I make and use one to wrap up the gift and tuck the other in with the quilt. If it's a single or lap quilt, I just make one.

Easy, but not as cute as other suggestions: for a lap quilt I recently gave my mother I found a recycle bag at Walmart that was a coordinating color. (It didn't say Walmart on it - was built horizontally rather than vertically the way others I've seen have been.)
