I sent a check to a friend in Canada.I was wondering if it takes mail longer since it has to go to Canada.Connie in CO

When sending airmail it takes 5-10 days.

I regularly send mail to Canada from Colorado and sometimes it has taken up to six weeks to arrive. These are letters.
I wouldn't start worrying until at least 2-3 weeks has passed.

Good grief! I thought Canada was a close neighbor. What does the USPS do, send mail by mule train? :-)
