What are your plans for Labor Day Weekend 2011?

We will be staying home and working in the yard and I need to clean house.

I'm trying like mad to complete a matching game quilt that my Acteens are donating to the Baptist Children's Home Fall Festival and Quilt Auction( say that 3 times fast :) ) It's due to be turned in 9/9 and I just made the sandwich last night!!!

Staying home as my kiddos have school sport events already! My eldest is cheering in a home football game on Friday, and the younger ones (the twins) have to help at the Varsity Volleyball tournament on Saturday. So, missing out on the camping/fishing trip with my sweetie and his family... BUT, I plan to clean and organize and SEW my little heart out for three whole days! Love three day weekends!

Saturday we are going to Cincinnati to visit our DD and SIL. They were married in June and we have not been to their new apt since helping them move stuff there in late May. He works in that area and she is a graduate student at Miami University in Oxford, OH. On Sunday we will pick DS and DIL up at the airport... they have been vacationing in Colorado this week. On Monday I am having them and my dad/step-mom (very elderly and not in good health) to our house. We will cook-out and make homemade ice cream. Whew! Sure wish my long weekend was going to be longer!!!
