Amazing, the plans that have been made for when QEII passes away.

Amazing. Contrast that to my after death plans. I will not have a funeral, just a simple gathering of my immediate family.

I do like the idea of pre-planning. Having gone through two unexpected family member deaths, and being the one everyone relied on to do most of the arrangements, I highly recommend it. People don't seem to realize just how expensive things can be, and it's really hard to reign things in when money is tight, yet they want the best.

I agree about the pre planning and having the money set aside for the funeral you want, don't expect family to deal with your wishes with no money to carry them out.

What Pomp! I remember Diana's Funeral it was shaped off the Queen Mother's funeral plans. The Brits do things big.
This queen deserves all of it.

We planned a Huck Finn funeral for my brother. We wanted to let him hear all the good things folks would say. et the place adn the date. bought tickets... Then he did a few days before it. Frat. OH well. It was already planned , so we jsut had his urn instead of him. At least we tried. He loved the idea. and would have had a lot to say too. He died of cancer, so many popele got to say goodbyes while he was alive.

Oh Leon, I'm sorry he missed his own funeral. That's one thing we cannot plan... time and place of death. It was a great idea y'all had, anyway.
