Hi ya'll - couldn't help that one :D . My name is Susan and I'm a single Mom of 3 adopted kids that are 18, 15 and 10. After a 20-year career in the finance industry, a 14 year marriage, a crash in the finance industry and a divorce, I decided to make a career move to education. I'm working on my masters degree in Special Education. I'm half way there.
I've dabbled in quilting for about 6 years, bought every gadget and have 20 kits ready to go, but have actually only finished the tops of a few. I enjoy the piecing but find that I get impatient and tend to change projects if I goof up something. So, I have a goal this year that each of my kids will get a quilt for Christmas (and that may be all they get ;) ).
I stumbled across this board while I was looking for a pattern so I decided to join. I may lurk but I know I'll like it. Thanks for having me.

Hello from Perth, Western Australia.
What a lovely family you have, I think it's a wonder you have time for anything with all your studies and taking care of your kids. Look forward to seeing your quilts as you finish them. I'm sure the kids will treasure them.
