Hi and welcome from Seattle, Wa. I think sometimes we just go in spurts of activities. Sometimes I feel like just dreaming of things I want to make so I look at lots of magazines and online patterns. Other times, I really get into it and do a lot of cutting and pieceing. Then there are times when quilting the sandwiches is what I want to do. Once you see all the pictures of beautiful work people on this site complete, I bet you'll be moved to go beyond the cutting and pieceing.
Hang on to that fabric and build your stash for the time when you're ready to move to another step. I know you can dod it!!!!:D
