Default Hello, I am new, well not so new, just not posted in a while

I live in Toronto. I have a question between two sewing machines. I have started quilting.
What are the thoughts between the Singer SE300 Legacy and the Janone 6500P?
    So confusing for me.

Welcome. I don't have either of those machines but I'm sure somebody on here has.

I would definitely go for the Janome, they have a good reputation, even the low end machines, whereas modern Singers are pieces of junk, in my honest opinion, but would gladly take an old Singer.

Welcome from Texas. I have always had Singer machines until 2009 when DH wanted to buy me a Janome. I got the Maagnolia 7330 & really like it but there are features of my Singer Touchtronic that I like better. I don't know anything about the two models you are considering.

Welcome from OHIO! I would try both machines, make a list of their features to see which meets your needs and definitely look online for reviews of each.

Hi and welcome! I don't know either but I just bought a JukiTL2010Q for free motion quilting and it's amazing! It doesn't have any other stitches though, just straight stitch, but I have a Bernina with all the bells and whistles so my need was what the Juki offers. I love it!!!!!!!!!
