It all depends on what you want, they can be from one inch up to 24+ inches. There really are not any rules :wink:

Hello and welcome from Ontairo. The good thing about quilting is that you can "make it up" as you go or you can "follow a pattern to the letter" and everything in between. Remember, have fun.
