Hi guys. My name is Lydia and I live in the Texas hill country. Been retired from the military since Feb 2005, and from contracting with the military since Dec 2007. All I do now is play! Been quilting since around 1995 or so, seriously...did a couple of little ones before that. Proud owner of a Janome 11001 embroidery machine, a Janome serger, a Janome 6600 sewing machine and a sit down Handiquilter machine. Also enjoy just about any craft, but concentrate on paper making, soap making, and most recently pottery. That's why I retired! In my former life I was an orthopedic surgeon. Do I miss it? Somedays, but not usually.
