Quite some time ago I found y'all and have been spending lots of time with you, getting to know you, seeing your work, and telling everyone about you and how talented and inspirational a group y'all really are... well, I'm hopin' that this confession will make it a little easier for y'all to forgive me for lurking so long because I'm ready to try all this for the very first time. I'm in a rural area of Texas that puts about an hour between me and a SuperWalmart....my online abilities barely meet my needs...but I'm waaaaaay more willing to learn now than I ever was before and I owe this Board and all y'all for that...THANK YOU!

Thanks, Loretta, I was thinkin' it ought to be something easy...and there's nothin' much easier than windin' bobbins that I could come up with...but it took a while to realize that...teehee.

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! I just got through winding a box of bobbins last nite so I don't have to stop all the time!
Glad you finally decided to join in. Ask questions because there are people here who can help with most everything!

Welcome from Illinois. Don't worry about poor computer skills. There is usually someone on here to help with that as well as with quilting.

Thanks, Shemjo, I've got lots to learn and everyone seems so happy to help here. A box of full bobbins does tend to reduce stress....preparation, preparation, preparation....of course, chocolate works pretty well too!

Thanks, Jim's Gem, your children make us all proud. My guess is that they're very proud of you too!

Thanks, Lisa_wanna_b_quilter, the computer help will be so appreciated and needed often, I'm sure. This seems to be the right place to learn from some of the nicest folks.
