Hi there. Happy to be here. I’ve been quilting and sewing for about 30 years since I took a quilting class in college.
I haven’t been able to do as much in the past 15 years because parent duties kept me busy, but not that my kids are high school age there’s no more Mom’s Taxi and more time for my fun stuff.

My most recent complete was this fun log cabin for a dear friend from Columbia. I used "Encanto" as inspiration.
I've been working on improving my free motion quilting skills, but, boy oh boy, that looks easier on Youtube than on my machine!
Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I had lived in Washington, D.C. and took my first quilting course in Alexandria, VA, not too far from the Metro. Loved the area and have fond memories. If you have not found G Street Fabrics, you must! Presently, I am teaching this same beginners class to six ladies at the church. Welcome and enjoy this forum.
