Wow, Just over the mountains from you in Arlington. We go to leavenworth 3 times a year, bet you can't guess what days those are. Yep, Dec, usually the first weekend of the Tree Lighting Ceromony, For the Autum Leaf festival, and of course October fest. We have friends that have an apartment above their church for guests that they let us stay in. And we always eat at Cafe Kryistal for chicken snitzel and spatele dumplings YUM. Ok enough of my ramblings. Where do you work in Leavenworth?

Oh, I am soooo sorry you are feeling desperate for sunshine. I used to live in Kirkland and oh, how I love it over on the 'other side'. The sun really does shine all the time, even in winter. Several times this past winter the grass has shot up in our pasture and on the hills due to the sunshine. Lots of room over here... come and sit a spell :-D

Will do. There is a quilt shop in Leavenworth that we always stop at, don't know if it's still there or not.
glad you're on the board. You will really like it.
