Default Amazing Quilt by Alisa Seamster

    http://starquilters.org/2011/03/27/2...-square-later/

We went to the Georgia Quilt Show this past weekend and this quilt was based off a cross stitch pattern. We talked a bit to Ms. Seamster. What a job! And really, it was spectacular.

I'm not related to her, and don't know her other than seeing this quilt and her at the show. It's made of tiny, tiny squares.

I recognize the pattern from a cross stitch pattern. It was daunting in cross stitch, but in fabric?!?!?!?!?! So Alyce did Ms. Seamster seem like she was still sane??? I don't thnk I could manage it. I have yet to accomplish one of the similar style/size patterns that I have started. It just makes my head hurt.

Fabulous job!!!! So glad that she was recognized for her amazing work.

Yes she was! She was very nice and easy to talk to. If I remember, I think she said she wanted to make it in a different color palette. Not sure. Just those tiny pieces seemed to my eye about 1/2 inch square. Could have been 1" but, I didn't get that far to ask her. There were other people around waiting for a turn.
