My friend Chris Kirsch has a blog with great quilting tips. Today's is:
Making pictures or patterns larger and then printing them easily.
She explains a few really simple steps to do this in MS Excel-yes Excel. It is very quick and works like a dream.

Excel and I are not best friends, but she makes it sound easy. Thank you for the post.

this is fantastic information. i opened my Excel and followed the setup instructions. before inserting the picture, i saved my Excel spreadsheet with the name Enlarging for Quilting. this way, i don't have to set it up every time and i don't have to search for the instructions again.

It works....but how do you actually size the pattern? I can get it to page size like the directions suggest, but what if I need that patern to be 14x20, for instance? This works great and would be WONDERFUL if I/we can figure out that last detail.

Thanks for sharing a great idea.
