Yes, it's a local auction site. Sort of a local E-Bay that handles only estates. They do ship, though.

My DH has purchased a tool, but he went to pick it up. I'm watching for lamps, but haven't seen any I like.

sweet - the pickup location is less than 10 minutes from my mom's house. I think I'll enter a bid next week if the price hasn't gotten too high.

It actually is a much earlier machine than 1954 with that chrome wheel & scroll faceplate. can't see the decals, but those earlier machines are much in demand. I would contact
them for a serial # before bidding. also ask if the bobbin
case is in the machine -(not to be confused with the bobbins, which many sellers mix up). good luck.

actually a much earlier machine than 1954. with that chrome wheel & scroll faceplate, it is pre-1948 or so. ask them for
the serial # to check on Singer site. hard to see condition of
decals. those earlier machines are prized, especially if they match your year of birth. good luck, give it a try.

It's only at $36.70 - I'll bet that machine goes for @200. It's really clean and the auction goes until July 7th. There will be a bidding frenzy at the last minute you can bet.

Thanks, Quilt 1950. You have all of us in Cincinnati checking it out & getting excited. I saw three on shopgoodwill.com. One of those looked pretty good & has a case with it. Sale ends on July 7 also.
