Yes. I can believe it. Some times it is easier to work on a couple and get things cleared away. Recently I was given a lots of scraps. I spent the best part of 2 weeks sorting, pressing and cutting and stitching what I call "components" for several quilts. Then I put them in a box for a time when I can assemble them. I had to stop to do this task or else it would have overwhelmed me. Daughter came to visit and commented about what a mess my sewing room was. A quilter cannot work with scraps without a mess. If someone finds out how to do this (other than throw all those scraps in the trash) please let me know.
I have completed the top of 1 quilt...made from 1 1/2 and 2 inch strips. Then I cut 3 inch squares to make half square triangles, then 2 in ch squares for another quilt. Still there are scraps in the box and I am say9ing "you are going to wait."
Members here have shown some wonderful scrap quilts. Among them are Pathways to Piece and Arkansas Crossroads. They can be found by doing a search. The white compliments the colors and make really pretty quilts. check 'em out.
