half square triangles using bias strips
At first I did not get where the tutorial was going but when she got to the cutting, it all made sense! (This has probably been posted around here prior but a search did not bring it up so am posting as new or as a refresher)

Someone else, I cannot remember the name, used to demo this way of doing HSTs, and actually published a book on this method....this is probably 10 yrs or more ago......it just seems like more work to me...did not like it then and still don't. But, it just goes to show...something old is new again

I used this method when I needed a bunch of very small HST and they ended perfect .
