Default June Tailor Quilter's Cut'n Press II

I have two of them - one has a gray cutting mat side with red printing on the pressing side and the other one has a blue cutting mat side with blue printing on the pressing side.

    I use them a lot.

The "however" part - the measuring lines do not match the measuring lines on any of my rulers. So if one is trying to square up a block or unit to a particular size - do not rely on the lines of these things.

So - check with your ruler to verify/calibrate the measurements and go from there if one uses these mats for squaring up.

Thanks, Bear. Long ago (like in the 80's) I bought a Square UP ruler by E.Burns (no connection other than liking her products). I use it for all my squaring up and that takes away any problem with measurments not matching.

I am talking about the pressing side - so if one is going to try to block a unit or block - by however one would block something -

I am anti-blocking (stretching or shrinking something to try to make it fit) - because I think that the next time the fabric gets washed, it's going to revert to however it wants to be.

The cutting side/rotary cutter mat - seems accurate enough to me.
