    I think it's a great idea to use border prints. I know I've seen some great ones for these blocks :-))

    She says to make a template. Don't have to do that if you have Kaye Wood's Starmaker rulers. Her 3 rulers have all of the angles we use in quilting. That's what I used when I made these. I used 1 yard of Laural Burch fabric that I love for the place mats/table toppers and the scraps for the mug rugs.

    Which Starmaker did you use? I came across my 6 the other day.
