Default New (to me) QAYG method

I do not have a longarm machine and am only comfortable quilting smallish quilts on my DM.
I just found this video which offers me an alternative. I am making a large quilt and am going to try this methosd. She quilts each block, top and batting only, then sews them together and lays the top on the backing and does minimal quilting. I'm not making this clear but the video will clear up any questions.
I like this woman and her ideas are right up my alley. Hope you like her too. (Not affiliated in any way)

Fun and Done is the method I like. You cut the backing larger than the block and batting. Quilt it then connect the blocks with the backing and fold to the front and sew down.
But still prefer the old way of quilting after the whole quilt is layered togather.

thanks for sharing. I might try this as I don't like the other QAYG methods that leave sashing between each block.

Thank you. I like this idea of not having any sashing.

I've been meaning to try this method, too. Looks like something I could handle. I've been saving my batting scraps to use with blocks.

Do not like adding the back AFTER the front and quilting are quilted, this method there is no hand sewing and batting and backing cut a little larger than front but all quilted together and then sewn with NO sashing to mess with. Done by Ludlow quilts.

I love this. Makes it so doable. Can't wait to try it on my next quilt. I only have a DSM so this would be perfect. Thank you so much Gaga.

Thank you. I love the fun and done but have been puzzled how to do one without sashing, now I can do both. With RA I have a hard time quilting large quilts so this solves my problem.
