Love your new blocks you have added. Such gorgeous fabrics and workmanship. Your focus fabric with the red truck is so nice to fussy cut or add to your blocks. Looking forward to seeing blocks you are adding. Thank you so much for sharing your great work.

Sorry Deecee, you can't post links to Facebook here in the public forum. But, still, she doesn't have a separate place on there for the Winter Fun Blocks. It's mixed into her regular Pat Sloan, I love to quilt Facebook page. Here's a direct link back to the blog where pictures are now starting to show up as finished tops. https://www.ilovetomakequilts.com/20...er-fun.html%20

Hi Jordan, I guess you gave me the ultimate compliment. My blocks are already posted in the last photo. This quilt is just going to be lap size. Nine of the blocks are Pats and the other 7 are mine. I wanted them to seamlessly fit in. And, I guess they do. lol. I just have to add the small 2.5 inch border to the top and bottom and a 4.5 or 5 inch border in dark green plaid around the whole thing. I will post an updated photo when that border is put on.

    And, I'm finished.

By making my layout 4 blocks x 4 blocks instead of Pat's 3 x3, my quilt finished at 65 x 82.5. I kept all the border cuts to Pat's dimensions. I also did not change the basic layout that Pat designed. (Which I love.) I also made a few extra blocks and tweaked a few of Pat's blocks to better suit my fabric. (Mostly just the color balance.)

I have purchased my backing fabric and it is que to be quilt. (Probably not till next year. I would love to have it long armed with snowflakes.)

If anyone ever makes this quilt, I would love to share in your adventure.

This is such a pretty quilt! You did an outstanding job on picking the colors and fabric, designing your own version and making those extra blocks. Congratulations!
And thank you for sharing it with us.
