    Default Tribute to a Quilter

Ran across this on a link that board member, Christine- has down in the bottom of her signature line. What a wonderful thing the family did for this quilter when she passed away. I put the link from the granite company that made the actual tombstone. I've never seen anything like this before...just beautiful! Here's what it said about the stone:

"We would like to thank the Mack family for choosing us to create this unique monument! Marcella will always be remembered as a very talented quilter. Her family brought in a picture of her quilt rack and we designed the shape of the stone to match. The quilt that is etched on the stone is a replica of one of Marcella’s quilts. Michael Landeros"

Wow! A true tribute to a person who loved the art of quilting. That this artwork will be her eternal marker is amazing.
