There is some fabric for sale at Hancocks that looks like a good deal, but it says 200 thread count. Is that a good thread count for quilting? If not for quilting, I am going to be making little comfort pillow things for people who are post op mastectomy. Basically a lightly stuffed heart shape pillow.

    Thanks, Virg

it is a good thread count- about the same as batiks
the regular quilting cottons we buy are about 60-to 100 thread count- so that is a tighter weave.
