    Default 3 yard quilt

Just sending some public love out to Fabric Cafe and their 3 Yard Quilts.
I was having some blahs and frustration with my current projects. I needed something simple and fast to get myself out of the rut. Boom - finished top in 3 days. (And I figured out the quilting pattern for after I get it basted.) And I feel ready to move forward on those more challenging things. Also makes shopping the stash easy.
I know we always have newbies on here - can't recommend enough for you to have at least one of these books in your personal library collection.

I love the Three Yard Quilt Books. Fabric Cafe is fun to watch on youtube. So happy and cheerful. I use their binding and joining method on most of my quilts.

I really like the 3-yard patterns too. They're easy to do, go together quickly and really look nice.

I enjoy those 3 Yard Quilts also. So fast and simple. I also enjoy buying those little postcard like patterns from VillaRosa Designs, which are available online or in most quilt shops I've been in. Gotta love those bing, bang, boom, finished kind of quilts.

Someone posted they were looking for quick quilt patterns for their small quilting group? Pinterest is always a great source, and I found this one that I think works well for all kinds of recipients:

Fabric choice is the key for these quilts to be beautiful. I've have seen some three yard quilts that look pretty sad because of fabric choice.
