Finally decided to do a trial block. WOW! I can't beleive there is an easier way to handle all that bulk. I love the look and am assuming I need to use the Walking Foot while piecing? Will have to use a smaller needle though-found out my WF will skip stitches throughout if I use a larger needle. Any suggestions?

On my trial block, I folded it 1/4" shy of where they meet in the middle so there's a nice place for the yoyo (or button).

I did these last night for the first time and did not have to use a walking foot. There was a little bulk once all 4 were together so I just clipped and pressed as flat as I could. Worked just fine using 5.5" squares.
