I just began quilting last fall by taking a beginner's class at my LQS just before my 62nd birthday. I was inspired by my Mom so we could help each other out. She began learning on her own when her grandchildren started arriving. Hehehe We have enjoyed sharing our hobby, talking about how colors go together, and being moral support for each other :-D

Over 60 new to "real" quilting. Sewed for many years before reaching 60 but wanted to do something totally different and am lovin' it especially with the support of the Quilting Board.
