Unhappy am in need of a paper pieced basketball

Can anyone help me ...or direct me to a site where I can get a free paper pieced pattern for a basketball? Grandson is graduating and I'm making a wall hanging with a graduation cap...and he is really into basketball. Have been on the web for a couple hours now and can't find one. Please help.

I have never seen one. I would find some fabric that looks like a basketball, then depending on your size that you need, do a tight zig zag stitching by looking at a picture of a basketball.

I just googled "paper pieced basketball pattern" and found a few different ones. Check it out. I have a friend that did a paper pieced soccer ball. It looked great, but even more pieces than a basketball.

    Good luck!

    Have you tried paperpanache.com??
If you don't see what you need you can request a specific paper piece pattern.
