Default Anyone built their own longarm frame?

I bought a long arm but husband wanted to make the frame for me. Has anyone done this and do you have any tips to pass on. I got the machine at a good price but the frames are not possible to buy now. Any help would be appreciated.

I have not, but there are plans and parts available on eBay:

Just make sure that the carriage you select is the right size for your machine.
