    Default Babylock Cresendo question

    Hello,new here

I recently bought a floor model of the Babylock Cresendo. My dealer said it had only this many stitches,(like in not very many) which I can't remember of course. I found the feature that shows it and it say's 000067892. Would that be six thousand or sixty seven thousand? The manager that knows is on vacation until next week. The second sounds like an awful lot. I live on an island and it couln't of been tested that much!

    Thanks if you can help.

That would be 67,000.For a TOL embroidery machine that's not much at all. One large design could even have that many stitches, actually.

Thanks for answering, but the Cresendo isn't an embroidery machine..

That is a very low stitch count. One baby quilt could put that many stitches on a machine. You figure 8 to 12 stitches per inch and it adds up very quickly. And as Kristi.G stated, if it were an embroidery machine one design could put that on it. I stitched out a dish towel design that had 36,000 stitches! Enjoy your machine.

That sounds low to me. The v-series machines are built really nice so I would not be that concerned, sounds like a floor model with limited stitching. I have had the brother version of the crescendo with embroidery for almost 3 years now with no issues

I've had my Brother 2.5 years and she now has just over 6.5 million. If you consider that many embroidery designs have 20-30 thousand stitches that's only 2 or 3 designs. I would consider that a very low number and that you are getting an almost new machine!

Thanks! I have an Ellegante and never checked the total amount. I never had a regular machine that could. I just could't tell if that was a lot.

Fortunately, I don't have that problem with my older Bernina. I don't think it was a machine that was used very much. He should have showed you and been honest and open with you.

That is not many stitches. I have a Brother 4000 that is about 11 years old and was the floor model. It now has 17 million on it and sews like a dream.
