Just went to a great show over the weekend - they had -among other things - a bag tombola which was really popular. They ran out of bags on the first day and members had to supply more for the second day! Great idea for events.

I looked up Tombola and it appears that they are "Lucky Bags" or "Swag Bags". My guess is they were bags that were handed out with little goodies for everyone that attended

In Spanish, a tombola is a raffle bin.

Maybe they were raffling off bags using a tombola?

We recently did a Cushion Tombola. You buy a raffle ticket then choose which cushion/bag you would like to win!! We had 17 Cushions, so really like 17 mini raffles!!! Hope I have explained this ok!!!!
