I think I will like it very much.

You will have the rust color in the middle of the circle, shading down in values to the blues and ending with the Navy. That one darker tan? 4th color on the bottom will give it a little kick. Then in the diamond part the navy will outline it and at the very center of the diamond will be your pretty light and dark print. That should be very pretty.

Do you think you will like it? I hope so. It's always a relief when you can see your pattern. I don't think I have ever made one that I didn't like. Many didn't turn out as I had envisions, but they weren't disappointments.

I have been watching this from the beginning and have not been able to even complete the first step. Fabric layout! I want to use stash stuff and this is the only big peices I have left. Can you help me lay them out in the right order. I do know I would like to the blues in the center diamond. Will you please help me do this?
I am also including a pic of 3 alternate fabrics.

Thanks so much for doing this tute for us!

This is what I have to work with

Granna, do you know if you are going the make the quilt with the circle & diamonds or the layout that keeps repeating the hills and valleys?
I keep looking at your fabrics thinking about the circles & Diamonds so I can recommend fabric placement of Fab #1 and #7 to define them. If you are making the repeat pattern, then it wouldn't make a difference which is in those two places.

Well, let's try to get you off first base.

    If I had these fabrics, I think I would substitute No. A & B and take out #7 & 10.
I would then like to check the arrangement going in this order.
