    Default Before I Start Cutting...

I need to know about the longer triangles on the sides. Does the same rule for HST's apply? If I am cutting the squares at 4 1/2 inches, will the HST's be cut at 4 7/8ths? I do not want to mess it up.

There's a good tutorial on making half-rectangle units here. https://shop.mybluprint.com/quilting...ngle-triangle/

That is going to be a pretty block. Love your batiks. I have no idea of how big to cut your HST-just wanted to comment on your beautiful block.

This looks like an Electric Quilt block pattern. If so, it will give you rotary cutting sizes.

When I tried to save the article it was not about the subject. So much for that.
