I am a beginner quilter and trying to find some cool links to learn. Wow, so much out there and is overwhelming, I just found this link for pressing your blocks that way they come out square. This is interesting as the quilt books sure don't tell you much for a beginner.

I wish I could find some links so I can understand quilting!

Is there a thread on here for beginner quilting so we can learn together?

I don't think there is a thread like that, but don't hesitate to ask any questions. There are lots of nice friendly and helpful people here.

Definetely go to the tutorials and lessons section. Also youtube has a ton of quilting tutorials from block cutting to assembly I love it because you can play, replay play, pause, replay freeze.. AND one of the great things here is you can to into a live chat and ask for help when your mentally stuck on what your supposed to do. Great place to pick minds on current thoughts going through your head. Before you forget only to remember you needed to know next time you sit down to sew.

    Hi,

I just googled Hamilton, Missouri and it is north of Kansas City, Missouri close to Chillicothe on state road 36 before you get to interstate 35.

Do you live close to the shop?
