Default A ?? for blocks on point

I'm not sure if I asking this ??, in the main section is right. Here goes. Is there a web sight, I can go to. I want to sew my blocks I have done, on point with sashing strips. Or if anyone has done a quilt with sashing strip/on point. Give me some pointers. And YES after posting a picture of my next hand quilting project 3 weeks ago. I have made 24 blocks more. Don-isewman

This looks like the best one: http://quiltville.com/onpointmath.shtml
    And others I googled: http://quiltbug.com/articles/on-point.htm http://www.mccallsquilting.com/mccal...ocks_On_Point_

Hope this helps. I enjoy seeing your postings. Your quilts are really nice.

Yes, the first quilt I made. I used the quiltville.com directions indicated in the previous post. Worked out perfectly other than having to make an extra block because on point took more. I didn't have any more of the fabrics, so I had to wing it make a star block with coordinates.

Nor hard at all Don. You just sew you rows diagonally. I have a triangle ruler I bought years ago called "The Setting Triangle" by Lynn Graves that takes the math out of figuring the size of the triangles. Here is my D9P that I set on point.
