Has anyone used this? If you go through the site they have some neat products for your iron and ironing board....

Hello and welcome from Tennessee. I have not heard of this powder, I would not think it would be convenient when sandwiching a large quilt with having to iron to activate.
    Maybe on small craft projects.

    Hi,
I use this powder sometimes for machine appliqueing. I dont think it would work well with a big quilt , it's sold here in Australia at craft shows and it's usually demonstrated for applying patches to garments or for applique. I hadn't thought of using it on a quilt but I could see it working on a small project.

I bought this last year, tried it and its 'ok'.... I am not impressed.
From what Ive heard its good for attaching boy scout badges, military patches etc, not so much for fusible applique.

We used it in a class I took on Confetti quilting...which was a small fall scene...we cut up the leaves for the tree into confetti and used the powder which is like salt to adhere the small pieces....worked great....

I have heard of it. We used it at the brodal shop to "hem" tux pants without sewing. I'm not sure where to get it. I would not use it for applique because it washes out and also comes out when drycleaned.

Interesting, Thank you for sharing this with us.
I had only seen this demonstrated when using (sp) Angelina Fibers. I can see a lot more uses for this now :D:D:D

Only place I've found it is online...just do a search with it's name and you'll find it in several diff places. I'm thinking and hoping the wallhanging we did used the Permanent type...I think there are diff types? I'll have to search it out again and see...
