    Default border help

This is a quilt for my frog loving granddaughter for Christmas. Should I put one, two or all three fabrics for borders??? Thanks for the help!

Cute top! Either the pink or green next to the blocks is going to be up against the same colour in places. If that doesn't bother you then the arrangement you have is nice. I might use the frog fabric against the blocks first if you have enough or a plain white on white small border first.

I also would do a small border with the frog fabric (or white) and then a pink outer border. Love those frogs, they are so cute! And if your granddaughter is like most little girls I know, she will be thrilled about this cute quilt with pink!

I am not sure what order to put them in. I like all 3. I have made this pattern before and it always comes out so cute!!

    Agree with Monale.

    Cute quilt.
I made a quilt using that pattern. It's fun to make with a focus fabric.

I like the top of the picture with the inner green border.

I like how it "floats" the pink blocks.

Audition green inner, white/frog middle, pink outer. Do you have enough pink to also bind it?

For some reason, I prefer the darker colors toward the outside. Maybe my art background, painting, matting, dark frame?

Might be as simple as, the pink will show less soiling than the white, and the outside edges usually get handled more.

    dunno.

I definitely like the thin inner green border. I might leave out the solid pink. Very cute!

I would put the frogs first, then the pink and bind in the green.
