    Default Border Ideas

I am in my first Round Robin on this board and it is a challenge so I want to do my best. I was wondering if some of you could post some pictures of neat borders and ideas for successive rounds of a quilt block. What is hard for me is getting it to fit the measurement of the last edge. I am thinking something simple like piano keys or just rows of strips at an angle. Anyone have any better ideas? Thanks!

I found this posting from a year or so back and it is a nice idea.

Wish you lived down here. This morning on our Sewing with Nancy she covered a few different borders.

You might want to browse a few sites - even the pictures here - for ideas. Me: I have the largest LQS I've ever heard of near me, so I can just go there whenever I need a boost.

I should have re-phrased this title. I am looking for ideas for the rounds of a round robin quilt. I always check here first but will go check out the web now.

Hi, great little book called, "Borders by Design" helped me. It is full of creative ways to border your quilts. Mine was an E-book so it downloaded right away...make sure you have 30 blank sheets of paper when you download. Try googling it. The only other info on the face sheet is .....by Paulette Peters.....The Joy of Quilting.....That Patchwork Place.

Hope this is of some help....it, also, tells you how to space to get the sides to come out the way you want.
