That is really cute!! So, you didn't say if you wanted it bigger. If it is good the size that it is - I would leave it as is and add a bright binding (my first choice) . But if you want to make it larger, I would be tempted to add a dark/medium blue border (to match the darker background of the stars) and bind it in a bright color. A blue border, imho, will frame it and not pull your attention away from the cute center and the bright squares.

The border is just right for the quilt

The border you have on is adorable! If it is big enough, I would just add a bright binding. Very cute!

I'm another one that thinks if the size is good for you (and it is a good size), then just bind it off. My first inclination was red to match the panel color, but I just love working with bias stripes and a rainbow stripe with white would be my ideal half yard or so...

If you want more work to do -- sure, you can do multiple borders to get to your desired size.

I vote for this too! What a delightfully happy quilt! Nice job! It's so much fun when those orphans find the perfect home!

I would use a green binding, not a border. I think it would look more finished. Cute quilt!

I'd go with the blue stars fabric.

The blue stars border was part of the panel. I don't have any yardage of that.

I'm glad the consensus is that I don't need to add anything more than a binding. I didn't want it any bigger, but I thought it might look more finished if there was one.

I'm going to try to find two fabrics that are the same color as the two blues in the stars panel border. The darker blue will be the binding and the lighter blue will be a flange... off to hunt my stash for fabrics.

I think a dark green border would finish it off. Whatever size border would work unless it needs to be larger. I would also use binding the same dark green.

I'd probably go with a dark binding, too. I like the way dark bindings frame the quilt.
