I have a already made 3 and just got this thought to ask when putting the pocket on the front has anyone sewed it one smaller than the 1/4" seam (closer to the edge of the pocket)? I have been sewing another and just had a thought.

I've sewn the pocket on when I've sewn the top and bottom together

I always sew it reeeely close to the edge.

I include the bottom edge of the pocket in the seam that joins the bottom of the bag to the top of the bag. I have sewn the side seams of the pocket with both a 1/4 in top stitched seamd and an edge stitiched seam.
