Does anyone have this machine? I ordered it from Overstock. It is a refubished machine, but still has overstocks warranty. It was $267. I read all the reviews (55 of them) and all but 3 were 5 stars and the others were 4. I have a great Pfaff Exprressions 2.0, but I would like someting that I can do some embroidery on. Of course the lady at the LQS where I bought mt Pfaff had it all figured out how much it would be if I traded in my current machine and purchased the Pfaff machine that does everything. Really great trade in and good sale price plus 1 year no intrest financing. But I just could'nt justify the cost ( about $1200) after trade in and sale. So I thought this might do to see if I like an embroidery/sewing machine. Let me know what you think.

I have the 400 which is almost the same and I love mine. I do all my applique and embroidery on it and have never had a problem. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

This is the machine that I own. Of course it has good qualities and bad..... but like u, I wanted a make sure I liked doing embroidery without alot of out lay of $$$.
    I have enjoy this machine.
    Pros: cost
    basic, easy to use
sews as well as emb with minimal changing of hardware
prelubed, no oiling or lubing req
Cons: The lcd is not very well detailed
will only make up to 4x4"
( min of 5x7 would have been worth the added $)
    no usb port

For the cost, I feel like I made a good choice. I have loved this machine.

You will find it great to be sewing on one machine while the other one embroiders all by herself. Is my definition of multitasking.

I have this machine and love it. Now you need to get the stablizer and fabric in the hoop and experiment. It is quite easy. All you need to do is thread the machine, set a pattern and push the button. It can operate by it's self after that.

Once I had mine, I also invested in a blank card and a card reader/writer. I then ordered additional patterns off the internet(e-bay) --- I am not too good at the computer experience needed for that, so my sister assisted me. I get better the more I do it. --- Enjoy!!

By the way if you get the 400 it has a usb port and cable and you can download direct from your computer.

i love my se350 the only problem i had was with the automatic threader. make sure the needle is all the way up or it breaks the spring. i also love the zigzag stitch because you can get real close and use for applique. i hope you enjoy yours as much as i do.
