    Alright,

I purchased a bolt of Warm & Natural from Joann's with my nifty 50% coupon. Now....how do people store it? I was thinking perhaps a heavy duty gift wrap holder that in a dept store? That way I could just roll it from the wall to my cutting board?

I assume this problem has already been solved, so before I tried to reinvent the wheel I thought I would ask. :)

That sounds like a great idea to me! I have seen them stored this way in pictures of sewing rooms.

After seeing your sewing room, you could mount it on the wall. I would put a crank on the side to roll it out. Pulling on the batting itself, may stretch it out of shape...

Someone here posted pictures of their quilting room. Had the batting hanging from the ceiling, think on chains with pipe or something thru the batting roll. Thought what a great idea, out of the way but handy. Good luck, mine is in a huge plastic bag standing in a corner. Grandkids think it is great to use like a huge bean bag.

Since they always have plastic over it when buy it that way, I just store it upright in the closet and take it out when I need it. If you have a space where you could mount a couple of holders and feed it through a dowel, that would be the dream way of storing it.

Right now mine just stands up by the computer desk. DH is going to build me a holder so I can roll it straight onto the frame.
