    If you want less expensive, I would look at a Janome. Berninas and too expensive unless you buy used. Hopefully you've done some research. The dealer screwed me on my Brother. It was NOT a quilter's machine AT ALL. It's fine for piecing, but doesn't hold tension when quilting. $200 more would have bought me a far better machine.
