Question Can someone please help me - Pinwheel quilts

I am pretty new to quilting and I love the Pinwheel quilts. I don't know what size to make them. I was wondering if someone could write me out a pattern for a lap size Pinwheel quilt. If so, could you PM me? Thank you so much, Lori (Scuddles)
You would be helping me out so much.

Lori, go to YouTube and search for pinwheel quilt tutorial. You will get lots of links. The tutorials I prefer are from Missouri Star Quilt Company, Jenny Doan. You can probably also Google pinwheel quilt pattern and get replies from there. Hope this helps a little bit.

I am a little leery to post a link as I'm not sure the rules here on this forum - but I can tell you if you Google "Missouri Star Quilt Co." and in the search box enter "Fast and Easy Pinwheels Tutorial" there is a video and written instructions for creating a pinwheel quilt. I bet you'll find a few other quilts you might like to make there too!

"Lap quilt" can be from a small square to go on a wheel chair, to a lap quilt to cover a 6' person so no way to figure that out without a specific size.

A pinwheel can be any size from mini to gigantic ....just depends on the size if your HST..........if the tutes don't help you, try your local library get a quilting book or two to find some pattern (s) you may like...and the directions will inform you of how many, what size, amount of fab, etc........

Quilters Cache has several Pinwheel blocks. Scroll down about halfway. http://www.quilterscache.com/Alphabe...stPageM_R.html

Pinwheels can be simple or complex. Hopefully you will find one you like on this page. There are 2 ways to design a quilt.... pick out your block(s) first and get your result from that, or figure out what size block you want to make, then see how many blocks it will take to make the desired size quilt. Either way works.

These are some simpler ones from the EQ library.

I'm very drawn to pinwheel's myself. Barb in Louisiana has a great suggestion for you as well as Geri B's of going to your local library.

I used to have a pattern for a 3-D pinwheel that was cute and easy. Can't remember the pattern name but try googling 3-D pinwheel. It was a freebie on the internet.
