I think the gremlins are working full time today.
I am attempting to learn to use Microsoft Office Word 2007 to create a label. Finally got it done and now can't print it -- I get a message to turn on the printer (it's already on and I have copied and printed other things today. Also shows the ink cartridges are empty which they aren't).
Between this problem and the board problems this week, I am getting frustrated to the max and getting very little done! I saw powerpoint mentioned when I did a search -- would this help?

Would somebody please be kind enough to do a tutorial on making labels using Microsoft Word?

Thanks for allowing me to vent.........

it sounds as if your problem has nothing to do with using microsoft word...i use it all the time- it sounds as if something is going on with your printer- i suggest you get your book out for the printer and do some trouble shooting. if it is showing empty ink cartridges it will not print- maybe try removing the cartridges and reinserting.
you said you have done some printing already today- maybe they are empty???

Try shutting everything down and restarting. Sometimes things just seem to hang.

I didn't do a tute but did describe how I do mine. Try the search function. You may PM me if you want.

I agree, try shutting everything down and then try again.

Mine does this sometimes. I reboot my computer and as soon as it is done I turn on my printer and it starts printing  :D:D:D

Geez -- I just discovered a wire had oome unplugged on the back of the printer. Why didn't I think of checking that yesterday. I always assume it's something that I've done or a setting that I inadvertently changed -- nice to know it wasn't me for a change.
Alikat, I'll sure check out your tutorial.
    Thanks all............
