Default Can't remember how I made it

I came across four blocks and can't remember how I made them. Can someone help me?

This is just one of the four.

i see that the comments on that pattern state that there are no seam allowances next to the inner 4patch... which means that the block will have the points cut off when sewn to other blocks or sashing. it's a great concept but doesn't seem to work in application.

Looks like it could be just a four patch.

Thanks for the question and than you board members for mentioning the Disappearing 16 patch. I had never heard of it but I have a shoe box full of 5 in squares that are calling me now. I can't wait to get home from work to give it a try. That should be a rather quick scrappy lap sized or baby sized quilt. Let the fun begin! Thanks all!!

Original tute has the cropped points as a design feature - "blended look"

The picture must not have come through properly on my iPad. All I'm seeing is squares.

Turn the block (on point) so you are looking at the 4 patch as the main feature. Now if you break it down you should see rows. Row 1 is 2 triangles. Row 2 is a triangle, a square, a square, and a triangle. Etc. Doing it this way would keep the points.
