Default Can't throw away anything.... part 4!!

As you know I gather every little itsy bitsy tiny part of fabric: especially small stripes and selvages!!! And as the other fabric fades these little leftovers grew... and grew.... and....
    Have a look:

So it was time again to "construct" some new fabric out of them!!!

And here I used the selvages!!

The stripes in the diagonal settings were ironed on fusible web, the straight setting is normal sewn together!!! And now I'm thinking of what to do with these new fabrics: I think little bags will make it...

That is way more patience than I have. I used my last pile o' bits as stuffing for a dog bed. Your idea is prettier for sure.

I think it's amazing what you do with those bits. I don't have the patience to do that myself.

    Good job! Very pretty!

I have piles of pieces like that, exactly 3 zip lock backs stuffed full and more. I've been meaning to turn it all back into "fabric" like shown in this video: http://www.superiorthreads.com/video...ls/conductive/

BTW, the tutorial is about using conductive thread to create electronics. The side point is that he creates his guitars out of scrap fabric by smashing it between two pieces of solvy and sewing a mesh over it. If you want to explore conductive thread, you can buy the thread for about 1/5 the cost through robotics stores.....
