I can't seem to remember if it was here that I saw a project made with chalkboard cloth...
If it was, could you pm me...I have a question about the fabric.

I already received my order of the fabric, but it so pricey that I don't want to experiment if I don't have to.

I had never heard of it before, so I did a google search and found out that this type of fabric has stranger than normal chemicals in it and are unsafe to use for childrens items. Some childrens toys have been recalled.

Oh, Shoot! I had an idea that I wanted to make and this may have put a stop to it.

I am using some of it for a framed-in wall board for my son who likes to draw comics... but he's 11 so he won't be chewing on it...

I just saw a travel chalkboard made with this in a quilt magazine. I was going to google suppliers. Was going to make for nieces and nephews for traveling. Maybe I will skip it now.
